Default An Observation for Mordy

Mordy, something occurred to me the other day. Maybe some of the other molosser owners will have noticed the same thing.

Filas are notorious snorers. Buffy could shake the roof. Kharma did a credible job when we first brought her home - especially for a 10 week old puppy. Shiva never was much of a snorer.

The one consistent difference is Shiva and Kharma eat either EVO or raw. Shiva ate raw from the time she was weaned. Once Kharma got the Innova brand food (not the EVO when she was a baby) her snoring cut back, but when she got old enough for the EVO the snoring stopped completely!

Does snoring mean there is a health issue with the dog?

No, Mordy, I haven't told them yet. Thanks for thinking about that though - you were the first party it struck me to tell, lol!

Invisible, snoring doesn't necessarily mean there's a health issue, although it would stand to reason that a dog who doesn't snore is sleeping better than a dog who does - just like snoring in humans can be a tell-tale sign of sleep disorders.
