bernese mountain dog shedding

hello. i have been thinking about the Bernese as the dog best for my family,but i have a concern. how much exactly do they shed? would they be bad for allergy suferers? and how bad?

Bernese Mt. Dogs shed about as much as a Saint Bernard does. Yes, they would be bad for allergy sufferers, since they shed so much.
