my boyfriends friend bought one from an awful breeder and he is the most HYPER dog I have ever seen, doesn't listen to a word you say and i think they are STILL having housebreaking problems, he is probably going on 1 year old now. And the reason they got a dog over a cat is because cats have no personality and now they are complaining that this dog is just psycho.

They are much easier than JRTs. I have had a few in classes, they were a challenge, but not excessively so. They are more 'terrier' than say airdales, Norfolk, and Cairns. But less 'terrier' than Border terriers, JRT, (parsons I suppose), Fox Terriers, and a few others.

If got from a good breeder, and with lots of training, they should be really nice fun dogs, full of personality and energy (good energy) But like all terriers, bad breeding and/or no training and the can be the devil incarnate
