Ello, newbie here
Hello, my name is Erika. I'm 19 years old and I live in Northern California. I have 4 ratties and two cats. I'm currently looking for a dog and will be going to shelters tomorrow. I'm looking for a small breed dog that can help me emotionally. I was diagnosed in December with Major Depression Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, and ADHD. Having a dog would get me outside and talking to people, so it would help greatly.
I've had dogs in the past, but this will be the first dog that will truely be mine. I will be the one responsible for it and take care of it. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and learning all I can.

I'm from Northern Cali too
Well I guess central coast compared to you. Glad to see you on the forum, I'm pretty sure you'll love it! I have a small companion dog and she's been with me through thick and thin, always there when I need some fur to cry on...good luck on your search and keep us informed!
