To assuage any fears, I should probably say that while I do watch the Dog Whisperer, I don't personally use any of his methods. We try to bribe Winston with onion bits rather than "tsk!"s. I wasn't aware that Cesar's methods could be damaging to a dog (in fact all of his stories seem to be success stories), but I'll certainly look up the posts here and see what I find. Either way, Winston's too cute to roll over for any reason other than to rub his belly...

Are you planning on growing his coat out, or are you going to get him clipped?

Clipping FOREVER! I'm not a big fan of the furball Yorkies. My boyfriend Chris and I were so depressed when Winston's left ear came up. I guess we just aren't that big on the Yorkie look, but he's so small and hypoallergenic and really energetic - perfect breed for hyperactive, dog-allergic college students in a small apartment.

WOW. I swear we looked them up first and didn't find anything on them, and we always fed onion to my pom when I was a kid and no problems. THANK YOU for showing me this, because I didn't find anything when I looked earlier! He seems okay, we had some chopped up for stuffed peppers and only gave him a small amount. We'll watch him within the next couple of days...
