He does need time to bond with you. It will take him awhile to get used to a collar & leash if he's never had experience with them before. It sounds like he also needs socialization.

Ok slow down. He can come in all he wants . you dont understand he wont come near the house yet. I have to go to him to have contact. Its not that I wont let him. All of our dogs come and go as they please.Im really not looking for a guard just a companion I spend a lot of time in fields alone. I am not sorry I got him he needed saving I would have gotten them all out of that pen if I could have.

Pick him up and carry him in . He'll never come near the house or go in , when he doesn't know what a house is .

I agree, pick him up and bring him inside if he won't come in himself. He is scared, shy and not social so he will not willingly come in the house because it is a scary place to him. Leaving him outside alone will traumatize him even further.
