I didnt see any replies to this thread so I decided I would post one, or some. My first story is kinda weird and sad..
My catahoula, Hunter, had got out of the pen one afternoon. I'm staying with my mom as of right now, and she lives by the road. He got into the road and got hit by a dumptruck. A few hours of sobbing outside and cleaning up the street went by, and I went inside. When I walked in the door, my DoubleYellowHeaded Amazon, Loopey, started yelling.
"hunter! hunter! hunter!"
I had never heard him say it before.

I have a daughter with Down's Syndrome. Squirt is usually very rambunctious, but around her she is gentle as a lamb all the time.

Same with Jaylie! She would be really rambunctious and rubbing up against people and nearly TRIPPING them because she's so excited, but then she's SO gentle with kids! Her new owner told me that the first night they had her she slept with her head on their grandaughter.

well I have a story not an amazing story but one that I still remember and it makes me miss more and more! when I was 12yrs old I had a cocker spaniel her name was Midnight she was my best friend!!! she was loyal and true and I loved her so much! I learned how to train her, groom her, and we were together all the time. I had a friend who owned a beagle and she would keep that beagle out in the cage all the time so the beagle didnt have any social skills and she wasnt trained at all. So one day I go over there to see if they might want to play and so my friend gets the beagle out of her cage and the beagle takes off running towards a busy I mean busy street, cars going 40mph we were so scarred and she wasnt listening to my friend she just wouldnt stop runnig so I UNLEASHED my dog midnight and midnight goes running too I started to get scared thinking that she might run with her! well that midnight of my runs and chases her down holding her down by the neck until we got there she saved that beagle from getting hit by a car! to this day I am very proud of her she was an amazing dog and I still miss her!

WTG Midnight!

One of my favorite Lucy (my heart girl now @ the Bridge) story is this. We had just moved into our new house. Through Lucy we met most of our neighbors. She'd run off & I would yell "Lucy, get back here" usually to deaf ears. Well out one neighbor who happened to be named Lucille was diagnosed with several types of cancer. Lucy thought her husband was the coolest thing on 2 legs. She was ALWAYS running over to see him & covering him with kisses, jumping up on him & generally being a pest. Jerry loved Lucy as much as she loved him. If we went to visit, with Lucy, she'd run into their house like "I'm here!!!!" & would run around & give everyone sloppy kisses (making sure to smudge eye glasses). Fast forward a few years. Lucille finally succumbed to her cancers. Jerry was devastated (I don't think he ever recovered). The day of her funeral we were all gathered in Jerry's kitchen. I thought he'd like to see Lucy since she always made him smile. I went to get her & let her into the kitchen. Instead of her normal psychotic entrance she calmly walked up to Jerry & gave him the sweetest kiss. It was like she knew how his heart was aching for his wife. I was sooooooooo very proud of her & her ability to read the situation.

Smile MY Cavaliers

I have a story about what happend when we were at devon

Me, my mum and dad, and three dogs, went on this bike trail .
we got this back trailer for the dogs, but they wouldnt go in it much.
when we seen this chicken in the middle of the path.
the dogs chased it ,right along a field. It was quite scary at the time, as farmer have the right to shot dogs, that distress their animals.
So we was calling emily and buddy like mad, rosie stayed with us, i quickly put her on her leash.
and then i looked over the fence, and there was a big drop.
i seen the chicken fall right down the drop. my dad was trying to get through the barb wire to get to the dogs. and then the dogs jumped down the big drop and there was a busy road there too
i then seen emily and buddy chasing the chicken near a really busy road!
it was soooo SCARY, but then all of a sudden the chicken fell down.
(i thought oh no they have killed it) then someone came alone in a car, they drove over the chicken (without touching it)
in the meantime, my dad had to jump down the drop, which he said was really high. he got the dogs by their harnesses.
then we seen a truck drive over the chicken (without touching it)
we was wondering how the chicken died
because emily didnt bite it, and it wasnt run over.
so my dad went to check the chicken, when all of a sudden the chicken got up, and was alright
it ran into the bushes, the farmers neighbour seen it all. and they picked up the chicken, and checked it and it was fine.
so the chicken must of faked its death haha!!
and this is a true story
yer i know its crazy
