Also for me personally I realized that all these things I was addicted to it was doing because I felt something missing in my life and I was trying to fill it with all the wrong things. So once I found what I had been missing it made everything easier to quit and had a strong foundation of a purpose behind it besides the regular every day stuff you here of why something is bad for you. It was much more mental for me than physical and thats the hard part . So yes, fill the absence of cigs with something fulfilling and good.

Bringing this back up.

Ive tried a couple of times to quit, the last time was this time last year and made it a month using Comit lozenges.

I just ordered my E-Cig starter kit so hopefully Ill get it this week.

The lozenges helped but I missed the physical portion of smoking when I got stressed. Hopefully I can get the refill "juice" and other parts locally once I have the kit.

Funny you mention the e-cig, I just had a conversation with a buddy about it a few weeks ago. Let me know if you like it - I would prefer that to patches, lozenges and the like, for sure. I still smoke, though it's not super frequent and a pack will usually last me about a month.

I finally got my younger brother to convert to imported snus. I have accepted that my brother is an addict, it's better that it's a nicotine habit which is managed through the safest option available than his other old vices which were way less safe.

Also on the plus side it's MUCH cheaper.

I sent the one I got back as it was part of a scam. When I get my final check from the old job Ill buy something locally.

Saw the e-cigs at the mall today.. the booth guy was like "Do you smoke" and I said no, and he said "Would you like to start?"
lol WTF

anyway, they look pretty cool! saw someone using one at the bar the other day, lol it was all good because it was water vapor but still cool to see!

I had a similar experience. Like, no thanks, I've never even tried a cigarette... I'd like to keep it that way!

The e-cigs do look cool, and it seems like a great way to make smoking less destructive.
