Shiloh Shepherd
Somehow came across this breed today.
Never heard of it before. Like Alsations (GSDs) but BIGGER. Nice looking dogs. A relatively new breed I believe, developed in the 70's and 80's.

There have been a couple of threads in the past (one fairly recently) that you may want to check out as well; there has been a lot of controversy about Shiloh's.
My personal experience (I've only met two; one I know quite well, the other I knew through a 6 week dog class) hasn't been great. Neither dog really showed a great temperament. One was extremely nervous and edgy; the other generally a mellow, nice guy, but with his share of dog and human aggression.

I don't know a lot about them, except that I met a family once who owned three. They were a great family, and the dogs were super friendly and nice, great with the children, and with our dogs. They did dwarf my friend's 120 lb. german shepherd female though,
 . We never thought we'd see a dog that could do that, much less three at once!

Shilohs were a good idea in theory but the breeding program was executed very poorly and now the chances of finding a good one are slim.

The lady who developed the breed now runs a puppy mill, breeding these dogs by the dozen in terrible conditions. Pretty much sums it up for me. I want the developer of a breed to have morals. I'll bet that everything she said she was creating was just one big fat marketing gimmick. If I can't trust the original developer, I can't trust the soundess of the lines especially since it is a fairly recent breed (compared to most).
