Default Lion cut? *Pics*

Ok, so I took my kitty to the groomers to get a Lion cut. I think it went a little wrong somewhere, lol. I've given him a Lion cut myself that looked much better than this. Oh well, he looks cute anyways and won't be shedding all over the house.

I'm guessing maybe he got a bit matted? I know a friend of mine who grooms has to do that a lot with peoples longer haired cats.

Yep. Long haired cat living with 4 Rottweilers that give slurpy kisses can cause mats pretty easy. When I choose an animal, since I have so many, I choose a short haired breed because I don't have the extra time for extensive grooming on top of everything else. But I rescued him after a severe brain injury. He has Cerebellar Hypoplasia. And I couldn't find a home for him with someone that would protect him the same way I do.

He's really funny though. He struts around like he is hot stuff after being shaved and seems much happier that way.

I'm really thinking about getting this done to our kitty.

Ever since she got fixed her hair is a cotton consistency and it matts no matter what. I brush her daily and have tried detanglers and conditioners but I think I am just going to have to keep her shaved. Her stomach turns into a matt in hours so I've been keeping it cut down-ugh

Do they knock your kitty out to do it? thats mostly what I am worried about.
