Ruckus is on a food trail due to allergies. I am only suppose to feed him that one special food but i have not been sticking to it.
i am giving him salmon treats... he has never had any salmon before and that is the only ingredient in it. so i know he is not allergic to that. either way, my question is. I have been feeding some fruit. Today he got about a fourth of an Asian pear. he loved it! is that okay to feed. any fruits to avoid? what fruits have your dogs tried? how about citrus fruits! thanks guys

Hannah loves apples and bananas. Just watch the sugar content with fruit - you don't want to feed it in large amounts (for digestive reasons as well).
Fruits to avoid - avacado, raisins, grapes...ummmmm...I believe the pits of most fruits are considered toxic by some authorities, though I don't know in what amount. I'm not sure I'd go with citrus - the acid may upset the tummy.
