Run free, Emerald
Just recently an older pittie girl was returned to our rescue shelter. Emerald was found to be in the last stages of lung cancer and died early last week. She was loved by everybody who knew her (except the $&$^^ owners who returned her, obviously). We just hope that Emerald's four years in with her owners were happy ones for her. At least she was with people who loved her when she died.
