Evo and canidae?

I'm just wondering if it is all right to feed wiggles Evo RM and Canidae (The chicken&Rice)

We feed barry and sierra canidae as it is a great food on a good cost and so far they do well, But wiggles needs all the oomph he can get for food so he has been on Evo RM. At over 3 cups a day, evo goes fast! So I am wondering if it is all right to feed him 1 cup evo in the morning, and then 2 of canidae at night.

Mixing the foods like this is kind of like when you transistion a dog over to a new dog food. He might get the runs from doing this. You would also see how much food EVO versus how much Canidae he should be eating as I think you feed less EVO than Canidae.

Also, my stepson used to feed his pittie EVO and he just never got heavier, a little more muscular. His dog is now on California Natural and for the first time is putting some weight on and doesn't look so skinny (he's 2 1/2 years old now).
