Thank you for the response on science diet. I thought it was good since my dogs coats are now shiny and they seem more active. Of course I was giving them Iams before that. At the pet store they were pushing Natural Choice. Can anyone tell me what they think about that?

It isn't that good. Have you tried to find a small, independent feed store?
A lot of us on this board prefer foods from Canidae, Natura, Eagle Pack, Nature's Variety, Timberwolf Organics, and a few others. http://www.canidae.com http://www.naturapet.com http://www.eaglepack.com http://www.naturesvariety.com http://www.timberwolforganics.com (ships their food for free) Those websites all have store locator tools that will tell you where their food is sold. Petco and Petsmart do not carry them. |

Thanks so much for the advice. I am going to check into one of the brands listed. Now I just wish the puppy and adult dog could eat the same food. Each of them always prefers the other ones food. Feeding them seperately is tough.

I would highly recommend you look into feeding Canidae. They have All Life Stage formulas so both the adult and puppy can eat the same food. Plus, Canidae is very reasonably priced and much, much healthier than Science Diet! www.canidae.com |
