Default Skinny Pigs/Baldwins

I was hoping to find any owners of these little cavys on the board somewhere. I met my first one today, and am very intrigued at this point.

I've read a few webpages so far, but most were breeders and I couldn't find much on them, or special care needs, if any.
Appreciate the help though, if you can lend any!

I love this little guys! One day in the future I plan on looking into owning one. For now I just have my male pig Billy. He's a loner as of right now. I can't wait to get him a friend. Pigs are full of charecter.

not much different than other piggys. you have to be a bit more careful with temperture though, and ive noticed they get cut easier as well

if they are anything like hairless rats, skinny pigs would not get cut easier but just so more cuts. because hairless animals have remarkable thicker skin

I had an ccident with a wire cage that wasn't welded properly (funny guarantee though) and the animal inside got a nasty cut. So, from then on, I've used tanks rather than cages, with a lot more success too.

And, if I do indeed get one of these little guys, if it's not in it's cage, it will be plastered to me or no less than a few feet from me. Hopefully, nothing to worry about. But I'm a worrysome mommy, any cut will be treated as if it were open heart surgery and dealt with immediately, LOL.

Thanks for the confidence boost though, guys! I was uncertain about them, but getting a little more comfortable with more research.
