new dog, new forum member

hi, i'm dani and im from beautiful british columbia! i'm married, work at the library, and have 7 pets sharing our home.

2 fish
2 chinese firebelly newts
1 corn snake
1 chinchilla
and the dog is tibetan terrier/dandie dinmont terrier cross: sylvie, age 5 1/2

we just became dog owners as of the night before last. sylvie came to us from a family that had to move out of province and were unable to take her with them. this isn't our first dog [we both grew up with multiple animal families], but she is the first we have had as a couple.

thanks for the welcome! there is a pic of sylvie in my member profile that was taken a few months ago by her previous owners. her hair is grown out a lot now, and will be cut down today [due to matting]. i will post pics after that!
