Default Ranger Update

Well hes home again. He decided to act up there MAJORLY. Hes bit her mother, kicked the vet and charged her dad. I cant believe he acted like that...................ok well yea i can LOL. Everyones ok he didnt break skin or anything jsut threw temper tantrums. I never knew he had such "seperation anxiety" I was talking to Gustav and we may be retraining for res. english riding to give him some challenge. Ive also been thinking of endurance riding. Any other ideas how to keep a 5 year old stallion happy LOL.

Sorry the new arrangements didn't work out with Ranger. Good luck with trying some new things with him. Endurance riding sounds fun, but will that be too stressfull on his leg? Also, have you considered gelding him? that might help with some of those ground manners issues and help him concentrate more on whatever his new job is! Well, give Ranger a pat for me and tell him to be a good boy LOL!

Im not gelding him because i may be breeding him again after the foal is on the ground in April i will know if i want to geld him or not. And the concern with his leg is the sharp turns and how that would affect his leg.

That behavior is normal for him hes a pain in the a*s. But such a sweet thing when hes with me. I sleep with my head on his legs in his stall with him most nights with walker in there with me. Its jsut like seperation anxiety with dogs they can act out of charecter when stressed. This morning he walked up to her and "hugged" her he jsut couldnt live with her.

Cool, sounds like endurance and competitive trail riding might be perfect for him then! What kind of mare is he bred to? Must post LOTS of pics of the baby!

Have you ever posted pictures of Ranger before? I did a quick search, but have to admit I'm not good with that feature. (hint, hint )

Do you own the mare as well?

What a handsome guy! Perhaps a silly question, but you don't have issue with him going out with Mama? He looks pretty mature in that picture.

I think you should take a chance on the camera and get some more shots .
