It is canine, but not dog, nor wolf. Its hard to call them dogs, remember, "we" do wear other canine fur, fox.

Now, the calling it faux fur is not exactly good!

Just plain wrong no matter what animal it is.. Items that are incorrectly labeled like that are actually illegal.. If it states Faux fur, it should be faux fur!

I can't abide any animal being killed for it's coat!

It is wrong that they labeled wrong, and I do feel for the people who did buy thinking it was fake. But, cant people tell the difference between the faux fur and real fur? Maybe its just me, but I can....
