Judge Joe Brown gets a big thumbs down from me! (anti-pit bull)
I just watched an episode of Judge Joe Brown where a girl had got her boyfriend a dog for his birthday, the boyfriend ended up not being able to keep the dog where he rented from and they asked her boyfriend's friends to watch the dog until the girl can take him back. Well the friends claimed she GAVE them the dog to keep and refused to return it.
Everything was fine until Judge Joe found out the girl was talking about a pit bull. He said something to the extent of "what is a viscious beast doing living with you?" and "I am not going to be a part of a viscous nasty animal living with a young girl just waiting for something bad to happen". And the girl lost her case and was awarded $250 for her dog who now was going to belong to the boys and told to go out and by a new dog that's not a pit bull. How awful is that. The poor girl, she BOUGHT the dog in the first place but wasn't allowed to keep it. Even though she was in court with her parents and they said they had a wire fence in concrete all around their backyard with a locked fence.

Honestly, the only TV judge show that I've watched that made any sense where dogs were concerned was Judge Mills Lane, and I don't think his show is on anymore. ("Let's get it on!") He owned an Akita. Judge Judy wants nothing to do with Pit Bulls. (And can you believe she ruled on the custody of a dog by seeing who the dog would go to when put down on the floor? Talk about a shoddy judicial process. My dog would naturally go visit everybody and come back to me later!) Judge what's-her-butt on the People's Court (Judge Judy's daughter), is similiarly biased. Anybody know about any of those other TV judges?

That's horrible!! He's a jerk. How can you call a dog a vicious beast!! How ignorant and closed-minded can a person be!!
