Anyone know WHY he would be obsessed with licking terra cotta pots??? He will sit there and lick them for a good 10 minutes straight multiple times daily... Is he just a freak?

I'd say he likes the texture both my cats are obsessed with licking and chewing plastic bags.

Cats like plastic bags because they are make of fish oils and taste good to them. For pots, it could be a taste he likes, or the texture... if that is all he licks that that is probably it.

I never knew plastic bags were made of fish oils. Is there any way to stop them from eating them? I don't care about the bags but I'm assuming bags are not healthy to eat.

there really isn't a way to stop them if the bags are left out (put the bags away!) it can get stuck in their bodies and cause a lot of problems, eating plastic is not usually a good thing
