Default what breeds do you consider to be bulldogs?
just curious, there are quite a few different breeds that are bulldogs, what breeds do you guys consider bulldogs?

of the common breeds:
english bulldog
american bulldog
french bulldog
of course oc posted the official list but of the breeds youll bump into on a regular basis those would be the 3

there are lots of bull terriers too but those would be "bull terriers" rather than "bulldogs"

I would keep them as Molossers/Mastiffs.

& most oldtimers always referred to their American Pit Bull Terriers as bulldogs. As do I.

I was going to say that. Though I did get mildly offended once when this guy didn't know the difference between an English Bulldog and a Pit Bull. (He'd been bragging about how his spitz-type dog bit the ear off another dog, but he didn't know if it was a Pit Bull or an EB.)

To me there's a big difference between Bulldogs and Bull terriers.

i agree, keep the Mastifs/mollassors as such they are NOT bulldogs.

and yes grammy i agree, theres a big difference between bulldogs and bullterriers.

and no i wouldnt realy consider a boxer a bulldog, though it looks kinda like one because of the short muzzle there not realy bulldogs. (if that was the case youd have to consider bostons and other breachial breeds bullies too lol
