Default My friend has a Chinese Hamster URGENT for home.

One of my friends has a Chinese Hamster named Nutmeg and she ripped the other hamsters head off She no longer can look at it and it needs a home where it can live SOLO. If you have a heart for her and are sympathetic for her please PM me. . She needs to be housed alone and tamed by a person who is very patient. We could try shipping. Thanks!

Hamsters are solitary unless they were raised together. That is sad that that happened. Unless she actually witnessed it happen, the other hamster could have died and the remaining one began to eat it. They will do that as will rats and mice. It can look pretty horrific but if they have been together for a long time and the owner didn't see the attack happen, that is probably what actually happened.

She still needs a home for it. She does not want anymore hamsters after what happened.

Nevermind. She decided to take it back to the pet store. I personally do not think this is a good idea, but her mom does not think it should go to another home because of how she punctured Sarah's hand so bad, but she would get adopted anyway so I do not understand I dunno. But nevermind this thread.

Too sad .

Because of one person's ignorance the poor thing will get tossed around .

Hey, how would you feel if your hamster ripped your other FAVORITE hamsters head right off its body? Would you just immedietly forgive it? Poor Marcy is right. Poor Nutmeg is not. Nutmeg is not being tossed around, shes fine, just trying to find a home.
If anyones interested, PM me..please. Or she is going to be taken back to the pet store which I do NOT agree with doing!

Certain kinds of hamsters can live together. Dwarfs can live together but Syrians cant.
