Sunny and I had more fun today!

Today was another experiment day for Sunny and I. We went mountain biking. Or should I say I went biking and Sunny ran along behind me I wasn't sure how he would take it so we went out to an old abandoned railroad track where the track is pulled up and all that is left is gravel. A little difficult to bike on but easy and wide enough that I can swerve away if Sunny gets into trouble. OH MY GOODNESS he loved it. He chased me like I have never seen him chase! He didn't get too near the tires and he managed to stay only a couple of yards behind me (I'm not sure how, I was going as fast as I could to see how long it would take him to slow down and stop...the answer was never ) and ran his little heart out till the end of the trail. We turned around, went for a swim in the creek, had a picnic lunch of peanutbutter sandwiches, a banana (yes I had to share ) and some gatorade, then headed home. Poor guy is sleeping now and I have a feeling he will be for a little while

Sounds like a great day, and Sunny is going to love all the things you and your husband do. I'd be afraid Carey would knock me off the bike!

Well, that is great that she had such a good day and you did too. That is such a happy life for a dog. I hope you get to do stuff like that often. I take my dogs on a hike every day. And when my Bonnie was young, she'd go every day with me when I rode my horse on trails. She absolutely loved that. So, it is not only fun for all, but good exercise. Let us know about your next outing!

He had a great day. I guess I didn't think about the fact that the name Sunny could go for a girl or a boy pup huh? We do stuff like this all of the time, sometimes if we're lucky twice a day I'm so glad that he is big enough to go along with me on my hikes and rides and swims I remember the first time I tried to take him out while I was on snowshoes, he got tired about ten minutes into it, tried to ride the back of my snowshoe, and when that didn't work sat down and cried until I bundled him up in my jacket and off we went. Now I have a hard time keeping up with this little bundle of energy! I think it is so much fun to see him experience things for the first time. These past few days have been gorgeous and allowed us extra time out, so that means extra exploring and adventure for the pup.

Wow, Sunny has been having a lot of eventful days. I'm so glad to hear how much fun the 2 of your had. I only wish I could have tagged along. Sunny is definitely experiencing life and all it has to offer. Enjoy your outings together!
