My vet doesn't do the Bordatella unless they are going to be boarded (which mine never are). Plus I give heartworm the year round so they don't have to be tested every year, just every other year.

HOw long ago were his last shots?

Most vet colleges now recommend every 3 years instead of every year for boosters and there is now a study being prepared to get the rabies pushed from every 3 to every 5-7 years. Sadly most vets still insist on yearly shots even though every 3 years has been shown to be just as effective without overloading the immune system

I'm not sure, but she's only 2 years old. I took the dog in from a previous owner. I called the vets around their area and there's no record. She did get rabies shots though.
