Pictures of my 2 year old!
Ok, it's hard to take pictures of Boris. He's either assaulted by Tips or trying to get close to me.
So this is what I managed to get today - don't mind the disgusting floor, it's what it's like after 2 rainy days, going to have to clean this today... Wondering also... does he look too skinny? He was a bit overweight at some point but I'm worried we're starving him now or something... although he seems much happier this way.

 Maybe just a BIT under weight but not much if any at all!

A-w-w-w....what a nice boy. He looks like he has a sweet disposition. Could be just a tad underweight...not much. I'd check with the vet. Lyric, my Dobe was a little overweight too several months ago...maybe almost a year ago (113LBS) but he is a pretty big Dobe. A vet told me he had love handles. a-r-r-g-g-g...can't have that. So I cut him back all these months gradually and I just took him in to see another vet the other day and he thought he was a tad underweight (84 LBS) so now I need to fatten him up just a little without going overboard..maybe to about 93-95lbs. It's weird, his ribs don't show but I thought it was good to have them a little on the lean side. (I'm especially paranoid about heart problems that Dobes are prone to) I feel awful now....no wonder he's been acting hungry more than I thought he should. Sometimes it's hard to get it regulated just right.

Yay Boris!! He looks great to me! He isnt too thin at all. He looks like he is in great working shape.

what a gorgeous boy! I really can't tell if he is underweight... it's hard to tell from a picture! do the spine test!

We can feel his ribs ok, there's definitely a layer between them and the skin, so he doesn't seem too underweight at the touch, but he just looks a bit underweight. With his hip problems though, I think we just want him to stay this way anyway... He runs around more now, is more active in general (still can't keep up with Tips but I don't think it's possible, lol), and at least he has a good appetite. (it used to be hard to make him eat).
So, I don't know... I guess we'll see next time we go to the vet.
