Today's Vet Appointment..
Ok, so Dulce's been sick for a while, and I've noticed what I thought to be yeast growing all over her body.
So she had her vet appt today, and I asked Dr. Mohr about the yeast. I asked like, 10 times "Is that yeast? Does that look like yeast to you?" And she kept changing the subject, and didn't directly answer my question. So I'm like, ok. Well, as I was checking out at the check out counter, the Doctor comes up to me (with all the many meds I new have to give Dulce) and says: "Liz, I tip my hat to you" and I'm like, "What?" and she says "You hit the head on the nail with the yeast. You were right, she has yeast all over her body" I was like,    Yay me! hehehe, I'm smart. HEHEHEHE! Anyway, just wanted to share So anyway, she's got yeast ALL over her body, and has new 2 meds, on top of the 6 Benadryl she already gets that she will NOT TAKE! Oh well, I hope she's better soon.

Thanks!
It's caused partly by moisture, and partly allergies. Yeast and fungus thrives off of moisture. She has it on her mouth because she has lots of loose skin, and it folds, and since it's her mouth, moisture builds up, and yeat grows. She has it on her mouth, in her feet, her anal region, and her vaginal area, and her belly

Hope this isn't a dumb question, but would a dehumidfier help her in any way?

My vet didn't mention that, but it COULD. The places she has the yeast in are very normal places to get it. Their feet, mouth, vagina, anus, etc.
So I'm not sure how effective it would be. And it's not a stupid question! It's a great idea! I'll ask my vet. How much are they? aren't they expensive?

My residents at the home I work at get yeast in terrible places, and you have to be vigilant to get rid of it. very unpleasant.
