Late Night Dog walk Turns Ugly,..
I took the dogs out last night at about 3am and was followed home by a drunk. I was a little surprised the dogs never barked until the police showed up to arrest him and take him away. (By which point he was lying on the lawn singing in the pouring rain!!)
We were out and the dogs were doing their business when I noticed that this man across the street, was staggering around an apartment complex, trying to get in all the different front doors!! When he looked up saw me,he started heading my way, so I decided to go in RIGHT NOW!! So real quick, I went in and told my husband who was sitting in the living room getting ready to leave for dialysis. So he cracked the front door, looked out, and noticed him now in our front yard talking to himself about a lady and her two dogs(me!)while trying to get in the front door of our neighbor's house!!! He must have thought I had went in that house. So he called the police and thankfully they came within 5 mins!! Boy what a night! I couldn't get back to sleep after that. But at least they took him away.

Dulce... I agree! The drunks don't come within 50 feet of me when I'm walking my pair of "vicious, Resident Evil dawgs"... at least, that's their most recent descriptive phrase from a drunk person. I think my favorite is the drunk that was convinced that my dogs were posessed by evil spirits from Haiti... that one was odd...

Border Collies are really not very small dogs. And just because a dog is small does not mean they are not protective.
