Grrr, animal shelter says keep the dog outside!

This is an add for a dog up for adoption. This makes me very angry
No dog NEEDS to be an outside dog, hes only 2-3 years old!

Very sweet boy who needs to be an outside dog. Preferably on a farm with another dog.

If I were a dog.. that would be an exciting life for me

I am sure a child would agree they would never want to go to school and eat treats all day. Yes they would love it, but it would not be the best life for them for example would it?

There are way to many people dumping there dogs outside and ignoring them.
Telling someone outside in an adoption add that the dog NEEDs to be outside is just wrong. I can find losts of interesting information about what happens to outside only dogs, even in rural areas where I grey up. This is a safety issue.

One of my sisters owns a Great Pyrenees and Sierra is an outside dog.

She lives up in the mountains of Colorado on 2 acres of land and she loves it.. she loves the snow and all. She comes inside every now and then.. but she's mostly and outside dog. She's a mountain dog too.. what do you expect.. a snow dog to stay inside all day?

I guess I don't see a problem with a big dog like her or other large breeds being outside dogs.. running free on lots of land.

If it was a toy breed then yea.. inside dog for sure.

Oscar and Honey NEED to be outside dogs cuz our house is too small, they pee all over, they are too energetic (we kept them inside before but they broke everything {not their fault}), and they sort of stink and shed everywhere. Plus, they HATE it inside. Always sitting by the door to get out. I understand you are mad, but maybe they have the same issues.
