Thanks for this information, that is what I have been feeding my puppy and currently she has not had any problems, but it is almost time to buy more food and I will look into getting something better for her.

Also, if I switch foods... which I'm going to do tomorrow... should I do it all at once or gradually?

All my dogs are on DVP's Venison & Brown Rice. All look great, act great, & work great on this food.

However, just remember that dogs are individuals & what works well for one person's animal won't necessarily work well for your own. For instance, I personally don't like Canidae. I wonn't touch another bag of it with a 10 ft pole. 3 of my dogs had severe food allergies to it (the sunflower oil), & the majority of the rest pooped like 5 times a day on it & had awful dry/dull coats that shed horribly all the time. 2 of my dogs did well on it, but that wasn't enough to make me won't to deal with how shitty the rest of them looked.

On DVP, all my dog's have bright, shiny coats, poop once, maybe twice a day, & act well & have plenty of energy to work. But again, that's just my experience.

My dogs also did well on Nature's Variety but it's soooo **** expensive ($50 for a 30lb bag & it seems we go through that in one day).

Gradually... mixing in more and more of the new one. Do it over the course of 7 days. Takes some math! LOL!

So glad to see people switching to better foods...

FWIW, my sister swears by Canidae for her dog. He looks great. But I swear by Natural Balance.
