playing with a stray
A friend of mine just got a lab mix. she was picked up as a stray. She has yet to get her dog any shots at all, and i am not so sure she will. i have talked to her about it, so i hope she does.
my question is.. can Ruckus play with a dog with NO shots at all? he has had all of his. is there anything i could get and bring home to the 3 week old puppies at work? thanks!

personally I would not recommend this, as, internally, you do not know what the stray may be carrying. I would at least recommend the stray to be wormed, (have a stool sample taken and read) and a rabies shot done. A CBC would also rule out much, if your friend is willing to pay for it. (should run around $80.00, or so.)

she wouldnt pay for it.
by the looks of it she isnt going to take it to get any shots at all.

i would pay for it, and get her spayed, but i just dont have money for it.
i dont mean to sound bad, but i have my OWN dog to take care of. but i am definally planning on paying for her to be spayed when i have the money
