Pit-Bulls are very good dogs. If there trained to be visious of course they will be visious practically any dog if you trained it to be visious it would be visious.
Hope that cahnges some peoples mind.

Thanks dear. You are right. I do, do my job. But there are ignorant people, lazy people in all fields and this is definetly one. I've thought a lot about what I'd do if there was a 'pitbull' attack here. And the problem is that it's my job to report what people tell me and everyone here identifies everything as a pitbull. Seriously. There is a dog that I'm sure is a boxerX at the shelter and when I suggested it she said "maybe but he's definitely got pit in him" As a reporter I can question people on how they know it's a pit or get other opinions but it's not my place to tell people they are wrong because I can't put myself in the story. I'm glad there hasn't been a dog attack while I've been working. It's easy to blame the media but I think people in general are ignorant.

I wish I would have had my camera last night. My 7 year old nephew and Beulah were laying on the couch together all night. It was just the cutest thing. He kept sayiing, "Beulah loves me huh?" Yep, she sure does. If only people could see those pits. The friendly, sweet, loyal, and of course kid loving pits.

i said the media in england are ignorant! Trust me as soon as they see a Pit Bull or staffie or an ebt or any type of mastiff they wet thier pants or turn thier noses up at you! Some people with KIDS cross the road, even those these dogs are fantistic with children! The amount of times people have asked me whats dogs have u got, and I say 2 staffies and a lurcher, they all go oh staffies are nasty why have u got one, its just another name for a pit bull! I give them a staffie and pit speach on how wonderful these dogs are. All dogs can be nasty, its never the dogs fault its nasty it always down to an owner! No dog is born nasty, just like a human!

I had a guy ask me why I had a pit bull. I told him that I grew up with pits and I've always loved them. He said they were unpredictable. NOT TRUE! Then he actually asked if I was scared of my dog...Why would I be scared of my own dog? I told him that it was all in the way you raised them....End of story.
