and most likely a family pet

I have no clue what breed. My guess is that one of my foster puppies at some point will end up finding his or her forever home at our house.

I only have one choice for my next dog and that will be a retired greyhound. Which Im hoping to get in the next year or two. Basically this would be my only choice because Duke does have attitude and is picky with dogs he likes but he sure loves his greyhounds and gets along with all the ones we meet.

Lol, I've picked out dogs according to what Sawyer likes as well. Aubrey we liked the looks of, but she was also a small, black female, which is his favorite. Virgo is bigger than he, but still a black-coated female.

I can never get a yellow dog...he makes them sit in the corner all day long.

I forgot to mention, the next Aussie will be another ARPH dog. The Rottie will probably be from a breeder.

heres my list:

Dane (either mantle or harlequin, or adopt a deaf harl/"merlequin")
Staffy (HAS to be english bred black and white!)
Wolfhound
Standard Poodle (either a black or white)
More Chihuahuas, long haired of course LOL!

im currently saving and biding my time on a dane. then when i have my OWN home (not just an apt attatched to my parents house) id like a staffy.
i do love wolfies but like with greys worry about their chase drive with 2 rabbit sized dogs in the house lol) and the standard poodles are beautiful but im not sure i could do the upkeep on the coat.

And well more chihuahuas because chihuahuas are like chips...cant have just one...or two...(id like a pack of 5 chihuahuas for some reason, and a dane and a staffy...thats my "dream pack")

I would love to have an Irish setter, although I don't know if I would get a purebred dog or if I would just get a dog from a shelter or rescue. Purebred or mixed doesn't really matter to me as long as the dog is loving and sweet, so who knows what I might end up with one day But I think Irish Setters are very beautiful dogs

We have a standard poodle and the upkeep on the coat is not bad at all

We trim him in the summer so he is cool and then has a winter coat for winter! And they DO NOT shed at ALL!!! Unlike Lizzie

Lizmo, do you have some pictures you could post here? I love Poodles. The Standards are gorgeous especially. I love the alert, perky and intelligent traits. I love their action....how they move...so atheletic. I am so tempted but I'm really at my max as far as number of dog. Alas.....(lol) maybe some day. I also would have a hard time deciding between the sizes. Little dogs are so easy, especially when you get older. I also love the idea of no shedding. It's a lot of work to keep a house clean with 4 dogs who shed, although mine are all short haired dogs.

But.....when I think about it a lot, somehow my heart does seem to come back to the Doberman. LOL. I can't see myself without a Doberman. And I love my little Chi's too. Gosh, why do there have to be sooooo many choices?
