Default Tonight is going to suck...

I'm seriously dreading it. A night of non-stop barking when kids knock on the door I really hope it will be done by 9 because I wake up early tomorrow...

How do your dogs react to Halloween?

Zeus is very good. After the first couple of rings, he just lays down and stares at the door with a wagging tail. He loves seeing all the new people.

I was wondering the same thing I don't know how Ginger is going to react at all. I get up at 4am so ya I'll be closing doors at 8-8:30 anyhow only the bigger kids go later than 8. Hopefully they don't bark they don't normally when someone comes to the door.

Casey is fine, we went for a walk to the shop earlier and she saw loads of trick or treaters and she was great. Its a bit past half nine now though so I don't think there will be anymore.

Well my boys get crazy when we get people in the house Thanksfully they can't access the living room where the door is, or I would feel bad for those kids... and their costumes, for being jumped on by two crazy dogs...

I put my dogs away in a room because they get too riled up when new people come to the door. Daisy thinks she has to be protective. But we don't get many kids, so its not too bad!

Where I live it's very rural and there are no trick-or-treaters down the dirt road here. So no worries, my dogs probably won't have any idea it's Halloween and there's anything going on whatsoever.
