It's sad, but most of the time the pet stores do take them back. Where i used to work, they would take them back and just feed them to the snakes and sell them as feeder mice.

ehhh. awkward. i hate that. we have amale mouse here now by accident.
i feel bad to take him back but i really don't want to take on another mouse. i guess i'll keep him though
