Mia! Just. . .haha.

I'm reading "Mockingjay." I finally got a hold on The Hunger Games books and I love them! I borrowed them so I have to read them in a reasonable amount of time, but I don't want them to end.

Remember how I said Fifty Shades seemed like a grown-up Twilight (w/hardcore sex)? Turns out that it is indeed fan fiction. I read that in Entertainment Weekly. And now it's going to be a movie! Talk about a big payout for something originally written just for fun and put up on the web as free reading on a Twilight fanfiction site.

(fwiw, I also just learned what "fan fiction" is....lol)

Moving on.....now I'm reading Illusion by Frank Paretti.

I'm nearly finished with my first DW book, "Touched by an Angel." It's a fun, quick read, but plays with the "rules" too much for my taste. Going to try a few others before I give up on them though.

Read Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk (author of fight club), very interesting book and I like the author's writing style! (not for the faint of heart but still a well written interesting novel)

and I always read an old book in between new books (lol no idea why..I just do) so I'm in the process of reading the golden compass! (again haha)
