We have Jessica, tiny toy poodle, and she d oesn't shed. Cost about forty dollars each month to have her groomed, sometimes sooner. Squirt, pitbull/boxer mix, doesn't shed, but she is a pretty good sized pup.

Please please do not support a designer breeder! These dogs have health issues, all sort of problems, but the whole idea of a mutt bred for profit is just so unethical. Everyone else mentioned various breeds of low shedding dogs, can't you get one of those actual breeds rather tehn support a backyard/puppy mill breeder?

since your not really set on a breed and you arent going to show and stuff

why dont you check out your local shelter

they are jam packed with poodle mixes now, and loads of them will be low shedding,

I, don't think our shelter would have poodles. Most people turn in large dogs that are strays, or dogs like labs, rottweilers, and some herding dogs. Its mostly hunting dogs around here. Our shelter used to be on petfinder, but now they ar not. They're not even a shelter. It's pretty much animal control. its what's in the phonebook.
