Potty training update!
First off let me ask. How long does it normally take for a dog to be potty trained? Ruckus has about 1 accident a week, is this bad? He doesnt come to me when he has to potty, he relies on me to take him out every two hours or he will sometimes have an accident.
He is going outside and as soon as i say "potty" he will go potty. And i tell him what a good boy he is and give him a treat.

It took about 3 or 4 months to totally train Elle, however, we did NOT use a crate. Bella's training seems to be going much quicker.

I think so to. And of course if he goes potty in the house its 100% my fault. He doesnt come to me when he needs to go out, but if i ask him... he will go wait at the stairs. so he knows he needs to go out to potty!!

It's different for every dog. Some dogs take a couple of months, and some dogs take near a year!
Anyway, 1 accident a week is not bad! Just set a goal and work to reach it, sounds like your both doing great!
