Look i dont have kids yet i dont equate kids abuse to dogs.

As I said mistakes happen we are not judged by them..

And im not talking about abuse dogs get but neglect where they are dumped.

Im a breeder and my site says dump my dogs in a shelter and after i get the dog back i will HUNT you down. The contract states I will take my dogs back not matter the reason or the excuse .

This give the buyer a back up if life hands them a curve that even the best people cant keep a dog for 15 years. 2 Guarantee's in life death and taxes not keeping a dog.

So feel if more breeders just took care of the dogs they bred on purpose or by accident the amount of neglect or abuse would be cut by half ..

I have room to take back ever dog Ive ever sold...... So to be that is the first and most basic think about breeding the responceablilty for the dogs, than comes the ofa tt and show or work.

Regards to abuse case which was not on topic but I will respond
Does not mean you cant make a decision in abuse cases to do the mercy thing and take back your dog and put it to sleep ending the suffering.

Now maybe im too BROOKLYN but if you abuse my dog my pup i will spend a nite in jail after you get back a little of what you gave .

I have made mistakes and sold to people who neglected my dog so im not perfect the dog has been back here 3 years now . And i beat my hand to the point of blood when i saw the life he was living and had to smile to get the dog back I did what it takes to make sure he came back to love .

Sounds like your pups were born to love just keep in touch with them and make sure they live and die in love thats all.

I'm with you! Maybe breeding dogs (and cats) should be completely banned. I know most breeders probably do it the right way and I wouldn't want to take the way you make your living away from, but since the shelters are all full why breed more dogs...

Let me tell you where I got my dogs! The first one was picked up from a guy who put an ad in the papers, this dog has been severely beaten and kicked and was in very bad shape. And when I say very bad shape I really mean BAD! This dog couldn't even take a 5 minute walk to the park, half way there we had to carry her back because she was exhausted. This dog has had 9 previous owners! The first month she was only lying in a corner in the hallway, shivering in fear...

The golden retreiver was taken from a dog farm. The dogs where treated so badly there that we just took 2 dogs and told the guy that he's out of business. Trying to stop us my hubby left him with a broken nose
One of the dogs we took didn't make it, but at least we got one out!

Remember that breeding responsibly should almost never earn you any money. Doing the proper test, vet checkups for mom and pups, and other costs should usually cost more than the $ you make for the pups! If RedyreRottweilers was still here you could have taken it from her! She has been under THOUSANDS of dollars with her breeding.

There is no money in breeding. I cant wait for the year we break even!!

Hey...Im not talking to all of you by any means, but when someone new comes on here, and is not trolling, asks an honest question, is it really necessary to jump down their throat. When I started on chaz, I didnt know a quarter of what I know now. Lucky for me no one jumped down my throat when I asked certain questions. Lets just try to be nice and not make people feel stupid for asking questions.

Even if we know its something we dont agree with, we can educate not intimidate.

Yep, I agree Moxiegrl. I came in with some concerns and I probably sounded bad, but I've learned so much now and I'm glad no one jumped down my throat, otherwise I don't know if I would have stayed and learned all I know now.
