Molly used to sleep in my bed with me, and she's about 65 lbs. And I only have a twin bed LOL so it got a little cramped! At the beginning of the night she'd be curled up in a ball, by early, early morning she'd be totally sprawled out and my legs would be halfway off the bed lol.
For about a month Lucy slept in bed with me, but she's only 5 lbs so that was no problem. We had to stop that though because one morning I woke up and she was off my bed, sitting by my door...and she's not housebroken. Luckily she didn't do anything that one time!

LET sleep with me??? Are you kidding ???
Bimmer is welcome to climb up and sleep on the bed, but he only stays until I'm asleep, then he gets down and lays in front of the bed where he can guard. Shiva (thankfully) prefers to pull blankets down on the floor or sleep in the living room stretched out on the sofa where she has plenty of room. Kharma . . . now there is a different story. Miss Kharma knows that Charley will kick her out of bed, so Little Missy waits until Charley is asleep, then carefully tippy-toes her way up on the bed behind me, next to the wall and stretches out next to me. If Charley gets up at night, she slides back down until he's back asleep . . . And she always makes sure she is touching me lightly with her paw or her snoot. She's probably somewhere between 120 - 140 pounds by now, and filling out from that gangly adolescent stage. Plus, Kharma doesn't thrash around in her sleep or re-live boxing matches in her sleep, so she's actually easier to sleep with than Charley is most of the time . . .

When Tony was out truck driving I'd let both of them sleep with me for a little while each night and each morning. Tira weighs 70 lbs and Gunner is over 60 lbs @ 5 months. Dog size doesn't matter....bed size does!

Tango is onl 35lbs, and she's allowed to sleep with me. I wouldn't let anything past 100lbs sleep in my bed though. I don't have a very big bed, and a 'huge' dog like that would take up most of the space....lol

Little 8 pound Sisco sleeps with me when he wants to...I would let a dog of any size share my bed though.

If my dogs want to brave sleeping with me at night, they're welcome to - regardless of size.
My friends say I go into "sleep combat" at night, in which I kick and shove everything that isn't me out of the bed. Somehow I'm aware of Ripley's presence when I sleep, but Dakota generally either sticks to the foot of the bed or the floor. He doesn't like to have his sleep interrupted. My guys are little, though. Both of them combined probably don't top 50lbs.

When I was married before, all pets were welcome to sleep in bed with us IF they wanted to... and they DID! Between Eli and Yogi, and Catfish, Ruby, and Bitty, we had 200 lbs. + of dogmeat and 35 lbs. of catmeat in our queen sized bed! My -ex used to jump into bed, get all the covers and stuff where HE wanted them, bring the covers up to his chin, and say "Ok, I'm IN!" Which were the words the pets were waiting for to PILE ON!!! LOL... We likened it to being like a couple of puppies in one big ole heap of a puppy pile!
Now that I'm married again, with a slightly different mix of pets, we just let them do what they want. Hunter hates the waterbed (as do I ) and chose to make the master bath HIS bedroom at night. John's dog (Brisben) sleeps in bed every night... but he only weighs about 27 pounds and is almost 15 (he can do whatever he wants to at that age!). And usually no cats anymore, unless it's Bitty on weekend mornings who gets up with us and wants to play the "mouse under the sheet" game
