What is the best way to socialize a dog aggressive dog? I know that socialization should have taken place at the age of 3-4 months, but I got Peanut at 11 months old. Anywho, theres still gotta be a way to curb her dog aggression, right? And while I'm on the subject, what is the best way to practice recall with a dog? Peanut knows a few commands, and "come" is one of them. The problem is that once we're outside, all that goes out the window. She's gotten loose before when I used to walk her using a collar, now I switched to a harness and although she cant get loose, she still pulls for everything shes worth. I was thinking about the dog park and school, but noone wants their dog around an aggressive dog and I can't blame them. Any suggestions?

I recently bought a Gentle leader for my Jack russell. I haven't recieved it yet but it worked wonder's for my friends dog and it makes YOU be the master when on the leash so the dog acts as you do.
Go to http://www.gentleleader.com. It also amazingly prevents pulling. The product I'm talking about is the head collar. |

I'd contact a behaviorist.
To what extent is she agressive? Snarling? Or would it become a full blown attack?
