I have NEVER seen a puppy like Shiva . . . ever . . . and it's all Charley's fault for naming her "Shiva!"

I will have to hand it to her though, she never, ever destroyed a single thing of mine - never chewed up a shoe, bra, nothing . . . She carried stuff of mine around to sleep with it, but never once tore any of it up

Thankfully she seems to have outgrown the destructive side of being Shiva and has moved on to the transforming side

Ours don't have "regular" names that can be looked up. Gunner's Mate is a rate in the U.S. Navy - Black Tear of Cheyene is a combination of her color = Black...trail of tears = Tear of....Cheneyenne, WY = Cheyene (- an "N").

TITAN

1. Greek Mythology. One of a family of giants, the children of Uranus and Gaea, who sought to rule heaven and were overthrown and supplanted by the family of Zeus.
2. titan One of prodigious size, strength, or achievement: “the twin titans of the beverage industry” (David Barboza).
3. The largest satellite of Saturn and the 11th in distance from the planet. It is the second largest satellite in the solar system.

KISMET

In English, the word is synonymous with "Fate" or "Destiny".

The word Kismet is often used alongside the word "happenstance" to set up a dichotomy between those things that are fated to be, and those that happen purely through random, chance occurrences. For example, "After Bob broke his leg in an accident and met the pretty nurse that would later become his wife, he didn't know whether to thank Kismet or Happenstance. All he knew was that after many dark years, his world had become a brighter place again."

EVE

Gender: Feminine

Usage: English, French, Biblical

Pronounced: EEV (English), EV (French) [key]
From the Hebrew name ***1495;***1463;***1493;***1468;***1464;***1492; (Chavvah), which was derived from the Hebrew word ***1495;***1493;***1492; (chavah) "to breathe" or the related word ***1495;***1497;***1492; (chayah) "to live". According to the Old Testament Book of Genesis Eve and Adam were the first humans. She gave the forbidden fruit to Adam, causing their expulsion from the Garden of Eden.
