Default Any Samoyed Owners around?

Hi. Does anyone own a Sammie? My dog is half Sammie half border collie and he sure has personality of both, a lot of Sammie in him. I am wondering about the grooming requirements and shedding. I sure wish they were not all white! Faris has the smile, the butt (yes really), the "I want to be dominant over other dogs" thing going on. He is quiet, a good watch dog when needed. Very Very people friendly, higher prey drive. Here he is..sorry so big.

One of my past dogs was a sammy/rough collie mix. He wasn't stark white but more of an lt. cream but he sure had the fur of a samoyed. I lost him to cancer over 7 yrs ago & I swear I can still occasionally find some of his fur around. Luckily he really enjoyed being brushed and I would just spread a sheet down on the carpet and sit on the floor with him and brush & brush & brush while watching TV in the evening. Rufus never met a person, dog or cat he didn't want to be best buddies with. He holds a special place in my heart.

My uncle used to have one that had some serious health issues. She weighted around 150lbs. and could barely walk.
