Default Low Calorie Fillers for Dogs

I saw a thread in which someone posted about their dog being hungry all the time and Mordy said as long as she was a proper weight that she should be fine and they could perhaps feed her some low calorie fillers if they wanted like green beans.

Wrigley is the same way..he constantly wants food. He will try to eat spots off the floor and has been known to eat bugs ect. I will have him lay/stay by his bowl before he gets permission to eat (which he does really good at and it has helped a bit with his food obsession)--sometimes he will drool all over waiting to eat....

So for low calorie fillers--what about baby carrots or bananas? What fruits/vegtables are acceptable and what is not? I'm just curious!

Here's a list of veggies, sorted by calorie content per 100 g (3.5 ounces)

By comparison, bananas have about 90 kcal per 100 g serving.

Whenever I mix veggies with Tibbetts food, he takes the kibble out in his mouth and spits it on the floor so he can get to the veggies.

Carrots are great. I use them to train because they are much better then the doggie treats you get at the pet store.
