Little horror!
My little Lilly has now started a new thing. She is barking while I am away. I heard her this morning. I live in an apartment, I do own it so that helps, but I don't want the other residents being distrubed by her.
Even though their are cats in the building who use the whole place as their personal litter box and yowl all night long she is vicitmised because she is a dog, people have complained about her being there. I did check with the board of trustees before I adopted her and they said it was fine. I just don't want her to cause ANY trouble.
I need suggestions on how to stop her seperation anxiety barking, another dog is not an option, I can't afford care for another one. She is not food motivated either, but I thought of stuffing her Kong with some super yummy things like boiled chicken and some cheese and stuff like that, just to keep her busy long enough to calm down.
She only barks for about an hour, that is what my neighbours say, they are very sweet boys who won't complain as my boyfriend gives them brandy! LOL.
Any more suggestions?
