My First Dog Drawing
After seeing everyone's wonderful talent, it inspired me to try to draw my keeshond, Max. Keep in mind this is my first time, so I did mess up his face a bit...
And sorry the shading isn't good, I've never shaded in my life before!   This was before I messed up the face:  And the picture to compare:

Beautiful dog!!!! ANd great first go at making his image.
For shading, start with your darkest areas making sure that you keep your lines going the way the fur grows..then work your way up gentler until you get to the part where you leave the paper white. Sometimes turning your pic upside down will let you look at it a bit more abstractly so that you see the darker areas as compared to the lighter ones.
