Default We just got our new Dogo!!!!

hi guys!!! we just got home late last night from picking up our new puppy. hes sooo awesome, alittle bit stinky but awesome. So far theres been alot of sniffing going on between Lexi and Guido (Lexi is my Jack russell fox terrier and guido's our new Dogo).

Diego is Guido's cousin. He's 8 months only but is very huge. he weighs close to 90-100 lbs.

When I first saw him, I was abit shocked because of his size and was abit hesitant to go pet him, but when i did all he did was lick me. Ofcourse once that started the other 2 dogos had to join as well.

anyway hope you guys enjoyed the pictures!!!

we were VERY lucky. It just so happened our e-mail was the first one they opened that night, if not the Dogo could have gone to someone else.

My husband is a computer guy, and when we went to pick up our Dogo the breeder had problems wiht his e-mail so Chris looked at it for him, and he saw that there were TONS of unopened e-mails, all of them interested about the puppy. (We got the last one)

If anyones interested in buying a dogo i would recommend "Lirio Blanco Dogos Argentinos". Theyre from Quebec (originally from argentina), at teh moment they dont have anymore puppies, they will breed again Summer of 2006. They have a website as well. Very nice people and they breed because they love the breed and not the money.

Guido is awesome and i love him to bits hehe

I'm not too sure. I know that the "North American" Dogo breeds only weigh about 100-120 lbs, Not too sure about Guido, as he is from Argentina. His cousin Diego is only 8 months old and hes already a good 80-90 lbs, and apparently hes got 10 more months of growing. Guido's mom is also big weighs more then 120 lbs, and his dads even bigger then his mom, And Guido is also the largest dog in his litter.

So im guessing hes going to weigh about 130-150 lbs when hes fully grown. He's a BIG push over.
