Default Royal Canin

Is Royal Canin a high enough quality food? I know SD is not at all popular for many good reasons, but it RC any better? I have read the ingredients list and it seems allot better than SD, those are the only 2 high quality foods available in SA. Lilly has been on RC for 2 months and is doing very well.

How much does RC generally cost?

I'm thinking about switching one of my dogs.

It is pretty over-priced (I think). It's about $11-12 for a 5 lb bag and so on. I get it for free through my university, so I don't have to worry about it, lol.

Penny is on RC and she loves it. The only thing I found is that it makes her a picky eater. After putting her on RC once she really didn't like anything else anymore and I've heard that more often from other people.

For me it is only R33.00 more for RC. Lilly loves it and her condition has picked up alot since she has been on it. Thanks for the answers, at least I know she is on the best I can get for her.

I just switched my puppy over to RC from Nutro, and he has made a huge improvement! His coat is so shiny and he is not going to the bathroom as much. I'm very happy with RC and will stick with it.

Were feeding Royal Canin's "sub-brand" Kasco. I couldnt be happier with it! IMO, Royal Canin is quite expensive, and for the price of if, you can get something even better.
