The breeder which I'm getting my second dog from recommends feeding Medi-Cal and Royal Canin. I'm aware of the type of food Royal Canin is but can someone shed some light on Medi-Cal for me? I can't seem to find their actual ingredients list unless the ingredients in that table is in some soft of order.

Medi-Cal is the prescription line of Techni-Cal. I think ever since Royal Canin took over the company, it's similar to, or the same as some IVD products.
They do list ingredients (click on the "continue to page 2 on each individual product page), but not in order by descending ingredient weight, only by general category. It's not a brand I'd recommend, if you don't have access to any of the true premium foods, I would suggest you stick with Royal Canin.

Mordy, thanks for the info! My dog has chicken allergies and so is on Natural Balance. I was just curious because she uses both Medi-Cal and Royal Canin but prefers the first one over the second.
