This is apparently the world's first commercial dog cloning. Just wondering what people think about cloning their pets (and possibly other loved ones some day!) |

Never! His PITA attitude and soul would not be transferable.

If somebody wants to blow $50,000 of his own money to clone an animal, or buy a yacht, motor home, or whatever then more power to him. Personally I can think of more awesome things to do with that money.
Anyway, it would basically be like having Strider's twin brother but born at a different time than him. They wouldn't have identical personalities/souls, any more than identical twins. Not much point to me. |

Eh, sure. It's kind of stupid IMO as most cloned animals don't even look like their mother/father (You've seen Copy Cat, right? Seen cloned cows? Pigs? Sheep?) it's kind of pointless. You'll have the same genes, sure, but not the same expression nor the same personality so it's just another animal, just with a duplicate of your other pets genes. Pointless.
