Working breed is not the same as a dog who ACTUALLY WORKS. And FYI, the ABPT (hence the T) is a terrier. Working dogs are treated WAY different than a pet or a show dog. I can understand where Summit is coming from.

Hey, got a question here- Should I be supplimenting Snowy's food with anything? Shes on a good quality all-life-stage food (30% pro. 20% fat) (the only difference in the "adult" and "puppy" food, is that the puppy food has no wheat, more salt, less fiber, less moisture and 1% more fat).
I was thinking maybe an egg a day?

Nursing bitches have TREMENDOUS nutritional needs. She should at minimum be on puppy food. By 3 weeks of age, the nutritional drag from the puppies is usually at it's peak. Bitches may need to consume several times the calorie amount of their normal diet in a day to keep up without losing body condition.

Nursing moms should have all they can/will eat of the best highest quality food you can afford. Many will need DENSE nutrition to maintain their body weight, such as eggs, organ meat, muscle meat, etc. Nursing bitches also have a need for carbohydrate in their diet.

Just curious why you consider a Terrier a working breed?
